Episode Description
Time management is a crucial life skill. People with ADHD know this well, but often struggle to hit the mark with deadlines, to get places on time, and to generally do the right things at the right times. This can affect performance at school or work and relationships at home. The consequences can be serious. Advising people with ADHD to better manage their time is not helpful; if it were really that easy, they would just do it.
Why is time so slippery for folks with ADHD? And why does the future feel so far away until (suddenly!) it’s right on top of you? More importantly, what can you do to get a better grip on time? To master time management, you must first understand how ADHD affects the way you see time and feel the future. Effective solutions hinge on clear understanding.
In this webinar, you will learn to:
- Understand how ADHD impacts seeing time
- Understand the consequences of ADHD’s impact on time management
- Explain how ADHD impacts feeling the future
- Use effective strategies to track tasks and deadlines and to increase motivation
