Dyscalculia Test: Symptoms in Adults

Dyscalculia, often referred to as “math dyslexia,” is a learning disability (LD) that makes math problems confusing and daily interactions with numbers frustrating. Dyscalculia can be the cause of problems with time management, spatial recognition, and motor functions. About 20 percent of students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) also have dyscalculia. If you’re concerned that you might have dyscalculia, answers to the questions in this free symptom test may give you useful information to share with an educational psychologist.

This self-test is not intended to replace the care of an educational professional in diagnosing dyscalculia. It is for personal use only.
