It’s ADHD Empowerment Month!
This October, ADDitude is shifting the focus from ADHD awareness to empowerment. From educating others to lifting up our own community. From seeking external acceptance to celebrating self-knowledge.
How ADDitude Celebrates
ADHD Empowerment Month will kick off October 1 with a live webinar featuring Penn and Kim Holderness of ADHD Is Awesome, who will discuss the 31 new definitions of ADHD proposed by ADDitude community members. The month will continue with exclusive profiles of creative ADHD powerhouses like novelist Rebecca Makkai, stand-up comic Rachel Feinstein, and illustrator Hayley Wall.
Each day in October, ADDitude will highlight a different definition of ADHD brought to life through stories told by our readers.
